Company Profile
Our store is owned and operated by Murray Gibbs who insists on using only the latest printing technology available. The HP print labs installed at Gerry Gibbs Camera House are the worlds first to be installed in a commercial environment have quickly built a reputation for producing the sharpest photos and the best colour reproduction in the business, which means that your photo memories are treated with the respect they deserve.
Gerry Gibbs Camera House was founded in March 1972 (as Carousel Photographic) in the then new Carousel Regional Shopping Centre in Cannington WA, as a section of Gerry's Carousel Pharmacy.
In 1976 the business moved to a separate location in the Carousel Centre and in 1980 joined the Camera House group. 1987 saw Murray achieve his Diploma in Photography and join the business. In May of 1997 the big move out of the centre took place where the opportunity to grow started. Since then the store has grown from strength to strength with the always changing face of digital, the store has moved with these changes and in most cases seen the store well ahead of competitors.
