Australian hobby and outdoor products distributor Murl International is pleased to offer their new Mini Digital Video Recorder and Action camera package in an exclusive first to Gibbs Camera House customers.

The mini DV Recorder Mi508 and Mi403 Mini Bullet Camera combination is capable of recording AVI [MPEG-4] video with sound in up to 720x576 lines of resolution and features a 2.5” TFT LCD screen for recording and movie playback. The Mi Camcorder can record up to 2080 minutes of digital video [with sound] on a 32GB SD memory card. Batteries life is quoted at approximately 180 minutes each [Package comes with 2 batteries].

A couple of cool features worth noting too are a Motion Detection setting which as the name suggests will only record when a subject in the field of view moves, and a Cyclic Video function that will automatically record over your older video when the memory card is full. Both functions can be switched on or off at will via the DV Recorder menu.
